MICROTEACHING 1π
In this microteaching session, I will present the topic of "Types of Teeth" using the skill of Stimulus Variation. I will use various visual aids such as ppt, pictures, and models of different types of teeth to capture my students' attention and convey the information. I will show a diagram of an incisor tooth and ask my students to identify its characteristics, then show a picture of a canine tooth and ask them to compare and contrast it with the incisor tooth. This variation in stimuli will help my students stay engaged and focused on the lesson.
I will also use real-life examples and 3D models to further illustrate the different types of teeth, such as molars and premolars. By varying the stimuli, I will help my students better understand and retain the information. For example, I can show a model of a molar tooth and ask my students to identify its distinctive features, such as its flat surface and multiple roots. By using a variety of stimuli, I can cater to different learning styles and help my students develop a deeper understanding of the topic.
