MICROTEACHING 2 📖

I recently conducted a microteaching session on the topic of "Nutrients" using the skill of questioning and PowerPoint (PPT) as a teaching aid. I started by introducing the topic and asking a hook question to grab the students' attention. As I presented the PPT slides, I asked a series of questions to engage the students and encourage critical thinking. I asked questions like "What are the main sources of carbohydrates?" and "Why are vitamins essential for our bodies?" to assess their understanding and prompt further discussion.

Through this microteaching experience, I learned the effectiveness of using questioning as a teaching skill to promote active learning. By using PPT as a visual aid, I was able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner, making it easier for the students to understand. The students responded well to the questioning technique, and I could see them thinking critically and making connections between the different types of nutrients. Overall, this experience helped me develop my teaching skills and confidence in using technology to enhance student learning.
